Nicole Kidman Can't Stop Her Flood Of Tears As Her Husband Wins The Entertainer Of The Year Award

November 15, 2018

A family is important. There's nothing more perfect than having someone around you through the good and the bad. And surely, a spouse's support is the top priority there.

Kidman + Urban

Nicole Kidman is head over heels in love with her husband, Keith Urban, and is always there to support him at every beginning and every end.

In April of this year, the golden couple attended the Country Music Awards, where both donned great outfits with sincere smiles on their faces. Urban has pure talent. He was nominated in 5 different categories, and eventually won the 'Vocal Event of the Year' award thanks to his single, The Fighter.

Nicole is always happy for her hubby and will stay that way until the end of their lives.

Legendary night

At the CMA Awards, Lionel Richie took the main stage to present the 'Entertainer of the Year' award, and it turned out, Keith Urban came out the big winner in this category.

His sweetheart tearfully congratulated him and hugged him while in the audience, showing her pride and admiration for him.

The Fighter hit maker was way too emotional and couldn't hold back his tears either while expressing his gratitude to his family.

Thank you for supporting me and loving me through all that I do.

Nicole burst into a flood of tears. She didn't even care about her makeup or looks at that moment, thinking only about her husband on the stage.

The tears went on as Keith paid a touching tribute to his late father, who died from cancer in 2015.

I wish my dad was alive to see this, but I think he’s watching over me tonight. I am very grateful that I get to do what I do.

He was also nominated in two other categories: 'Male Vocalist of the Year', which ultimately went to Chris Stapleton, and 'Album of the Year' for Graffiti U, which was awarded to Kacey Musgraves.

Unbelievable reaction

Later that night, Nicole Kidman posted a Boomerang video on Instagram, that captured the sentiments 'What a night! We were so shocked. Congratulations, baby!'

The Never Comin Down hit maker also recorded a short video thanking "every single person" who supported him along the way. In the post, one can see Nicole run in to kiss him and laugh throughout the video.

Isn't it great to see your loved ones reaching the top of the mountains? You're right, it isn't great: it's perfect!
