Back in 1999, two most controversial hosts Howard Stern and Rosie O'Donnell began their rough feud. Their relationship was beyond rocky as Howard Stern badmouthed Rosie O'Donnell's show multiple times.

Things escalated when a Stern fan prank called O’Donnell on her show to call her a “fat pig.” Additionally, fans raided O’Donnell’s garbage to give Stern material to make fun of her.

It's all in the past

When Howard Stern had a cancer scare, his public status altered to the core. However, it was Mia Farrow who helped two outrageous hosts mend their long-lasting rift.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Mia Farrow believed Stern and O'Donnell were the only people in the entire Hollywood willing to admonish her ex, Woody Allen, over her claims of abuse.

Rosie O'Donnell told:

She [Mia] said to him [Howard], 'Stop being such an a--hole. You and Rosie have more in common than you think. And really we do.

On the same wave, Stern admitted he regrets the years spent at odds with the former The View co-host, O'Donnell. Getty Images / Ideal Image

The two are now friends, believe it or not. That's how one simple person and sentence mended their feud!

Reportedly, Rosie O'Donnell and Howard Stern are on great terms now. According to Huffington Post, the America Got Talent considers Rosie as a "great talent," while the former The View host thinks Howard is "a genius."

It's crazy to realize how some people spend decades fighting and disliking each other and then, become best friends in one day!
