Alex Trebek Gets Candid About Painful Days Amid His Cancer Battle: "This Got Really Bad. I Writhed In Pain”

The Jeopardy longtime host Alex Trebek shared an important health update amid his stage 4 cancer battle in the latest interview.

The 2019 year started with some scary news for Alex Trebek. The Jeopardy beloved host was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Alex chose not to keep his disease in a secret from his multiple fans and addressed the audience in an emotional video, saying he “is going to fight this.”

On May 12, Trebek shared an important update on his cancer battle in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning. Alex revealed that his cancer battle isn’t going easy for him.

Trebek said:

This got really bad. I was on the floor writhing in pain… It happened three or four times a day while we were taping. I writhed in pain and cried in pain.

Will Alex continue hosting ‘Jeopardy’?

Multiple fans keep wondering whether Trebek will continue hosting Jeopardy considering his condition.  Some reports claimed that the network plans to replace Alex in the new season.

Alex reassured his fans that he is not going to disappear anywhere and will return in the upcoming season.
