George W. Bush was, indeed, a very lucky person. He had both parents alive after his presidency ended, which is historical! It was hard for him to bid farewell to such a great father after he lost his mother, Barbara Bush.

In the afternoon of December 3, a special Air Force jet was designated to land outside of Washington, D.C, at Joint Base Andrews. It honorably carried the dead body of the 41st U.S President, George Herbert Walker Bush. In a casket, he was readily transported to the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, after which he will be laid to rest at his dignitary funeral at Washington National Cathedral on Wednesday.

His son was emotional during the tribute

A memorial service was held one day before George H. W. Bush's funeral. Laura Bush was also in attendance alongside her husband, George W. Bush. Mr. Bush was extremely mellow and heartbroken as he bid a final goodbye to his beloved father. It was clear to see that he is fighting back tears.

Such an emotional moment is so hard to watch, even for his followers. George Bush's pain was apparent, but he did a great job in keeping it together. We wish the family strength and tolerance. Hats off to Bush 43!

Approximately 40 minutes prior to George H.W's passing, he had a heartwarming conversation with his dear son, George W. Bush. The gloomy son expressed his gratitude and attachment to him, telling his dad that he loves him.

Bush Senior reportedly replied:

I love you, too.

It's relieving to know that he had was able to say a proper goodbye. Share this and send your prayers to the family.
