Melania Trump Was Slammed By Family Separation Critics For Post About Rescued Thai Soccer Team

July 11, 2018

Melania Trump caused a stir when she visited immigrant children detained by the US border agents wearing a $39 jacket that had "I really don't care, do you?" written on the back. Many Trump critics felt that the jacket was insensitive.

The situation escalated when the First Lady’s representative said the jacket meant nothing. Shortly afterward, President Trump offered a counter explanation, saying Melania was saying she did not care about the “fake news”.

Yesterday, the FLOTUS shared a post on Twitter commending rescuers who saved the lives of the 12 Thai footballers and their coach. The young boys and their coach were trapped in a collapsed cave for two weeks.

President Donald Trump also shared a message on Twitter as well. It took the collective effort of emergency responders and the Thai Navy to rescue the boys and their coach.

However, anti-Trump critics are not taking the tweet by the FLOTUS to well.

Until now, several hundred children have not be reunited with their families, and many more children seem to be lost in the system.

One more critic even asked the President to recruit the Thai Navy to help find the missing immigrant children that remain unaccounted for by US Immigration.

There is no telling if the First Lady or President Trump will reply to these scathing criticism, but they bring to light the genuine concerns Americans have for the welfare of the displaced immigrant children.
