What is like to be a doting grandparent? The NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt is on the seventh heaven. Period.
In 2017, Holt's kinship got bigger after his son Stefan became a father of the first child. The baby boy Henry was born safe and sound, and the Holts were delighted to welcome such a cutie to the household.
The anchor loves the feeling of being a grandpa
Lester Holt and his beloved wife Carol Hagen have two sons — Stefan and Cameron Holt. The elder one is a devoted husband and a proud daddy of the little boy.
The 2-year-old Henry is the first grandchild to Lester Holt. The host has undescribable feelings toward the little one and so, he occasionally shares different tweets with media or captioned photos on Instagram.
One can notice how joyous and happy Lester is around Henry. One can admittedly name him a "hands-on grandfather" due to his constant efforts and time spent on the little grandson.
Notably, one of the best feelings is to feel loved and cherished by the closest people. Having parental and grandparental care and attention is beyond perfection. So, Henry is a lucky boy!
And Lester Holt is totally fine with being a hands-on grandad
The NBC Nightly News anchor isn't shy to admit "he is crazy" about his 2-year-old grandson Henry. Mr. Holt was on the Cloud Nine when the little boy visited him at his newsroom one day.
Everything they say about being a grandparent is true.
During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Lester Holt admitted how wonderful it is to have a grandchild: "It is such a great feeling."
Well, hopefully, we all will be able to experience this incredible love of being a grandparent one day!
