Wendy Williams wants to share her story on a major TV network

Wendy is currently looking for a TV network to peddle her tell-all story. According to DailyMail.com, the daytime talk show host is demanding an hour-long prime-time slot for the interview.

Many would wonder why she can’t do the tell-all interview on her own show. Apparently, the future of The Wendy Williams Show is uncertain as she has stopped attending AA meetings, leading to fears that she might relapse and cause issues.

Major TV networks including ABC, NBC, and OWN, have been given an offer of a no holds barred interview by Wendy, and they are considering it, according to several network sources.

The TV host has been plunged into a series of scandal following her split from former manager and ex-husband, Kevin Hunter.

Gayle King snubs Wendy’s tell-all interview

Information obtained from DailyMail.com says that CBS anchor Gayle King has rejected Wendy’s tell-all interview. It was also reported that the anchor is the first to turn down the TV host’s proposal.

It is believed that Gayle thinks a tell-all interview with Wendy could be seen as too 'trashy' for morning television, according to network insiders. The network source said:

Her people want either a morning show or an hour long prime-time special, they want Wendy to sit down with a big name anchor and Gayle King was at the top of the list.

But she turned it down, it's not clear exactly why but there's a lot of talk that Gayle thought sitting down with Wendy, dredging over her car crash personal life, might be a little too trashy for morning television.

This is coming as a big blow for Wendy who was hoping to capitalize on her emotional story.

Wendy announced her divorce from cheating husband

The daytime talk show host announced that she was divorcing her husband of over two decades after news of his alleged infidelity broke.

Wendy filed for divorce at the Essex County of New Jersey citing 'irreconcilable differences'. She served Kevin with divorce papers and is also seeking to establish an 'appropriate amount of child support' along with 'other further relief as the Court deems fair and equitable'.

May Wendy find peace in this tough time!
