Meghan Markle joined the British royal family on Saturday, May 19th when she married Prince Harry.
The wedding dress
The former American actress walked down the aisle in a stunning wedding dress made by Clare Waight Keller.
According to a statement from the royal family, Keller recently became the "first female Artistic Director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy."

What Prince Harry thinks about his bride's dress
A lot of people were blown away by the simplicity and elegance of the bride's dress. And they were not alone.
During the couple's lunchtime reception at Windsor Castle, Prince Harry sought out Keller to thank her for Meghan's white silk gown. Keller told reporters at the Kensington Palace:
He came straight up to me and said, ‘Oh my God, thank you. She looks absolutely stunning,’ I think everybody saw on television he was just absolutely in awe. I think she looked incredible.
The Givenchy designer also said the couple was incredibly happy following their wedding ceremony. "She was just glowing," Keller said of the bride, adding that the newlyweds were "so in love."
For the last few months, many have been speculating about who would design the wedding dress of the year. One of the frontrunners was Ralph & Russo, but apparently, the now Duchess of Sussex chose to go another way.
The designer of the dress was kept in secret, even Keller's family did not know she was making it until it was revealed on the big day.
Meghan wore two dresses that day. The second, which she worn for the evening event, was designed by Stella McCartney. It was a very modern and lovely high neck white number.
Both dresses were very gorgeous, and it's nice to know that the prince thought so as well.
