Kate Middleton Makes Surprise Appearance With The Queen In Balmoral While Being On Maternity Leave

August 27, 2018

Now, that Duchess Catherine is on maternity leave following the birth of Prince Louis, it’s a rare occasion that she’s spotted in public. The 36-year-old is not expected to attend any official engagements until fall, but this doesn’t mean she won’t step out for family gatherings.

Just recently, Kate Middleton was photographed in Balmoral while attending church service at Crathie Kirk together with Queen Elizabeth II. And the mom of three looked absolutely stunning.

Even though it’s still summer, the Duchess sported a gray coatdress with black piping. She accessorized her look with a black fascinator.

Elegant, as usual!

Of course, this was not the first time Kate stepped out while technically being on maternity leave. In fact, we had a pleasure to see her attending several royal occasions since, including the RAF's 100th-anniversary celebrations, Trooping the Color, and Prince Louis’ christening.

Prince Louis is Kate and William’s third child. The couple announced the exciting pregnancy news in September last year. And while the Duchess had to deal with acute morning sickness, the delivery didn’t have any complications.

We can’t wait to see Duchess Catherine in the spotlight again!
