Telltale signs

Footage from their wedding tells the whole story. But, body language expert Dr. Peter Collett is giving the tea on all the clues the public missed about this ill-fated couple long before their marriage even began.

If you think you’ve heard it all, you may be in for a shocker or two. Collett specifically begins by pointing out that Charles did not even try to alter his life to suit his new fiancée.

Groom in distress

Very unlike the way his son Prince Harry made space for Meghan Markle by his side rather quickly, early footage of Diana and Charles shows no warmth, acceptance or awareness of his bride-to-be by his side.

But, it’s their wedding day that reveals Charles’ actual feelings about his bride. Where the world saw his son Harry full of anticipation, Charles looked like he would rather be anywhere but by Diana’s side.

He kept looking like he wanted to be done with the whole thing and at one point patted off imaginary tears; an involuntary sign to show he was distressed.

This was a big contrast with Harry, again, who kept gazing into Meghan’s eyes and actually cried real tears. Or even Charles' obvious glee when he finally wedded his mistress, Camilla.

If you are still in any doubt, opinion polls from social media users suggest that the signs between Prince Charles and Diana were obvious to anyone who bothered to pay attention to them. What do you think?
