Whoopi Goldberg shared an important update on her health after she suffered severe pneumonia in winter. The Hollywood star revealed her sight is getting worse.

Whoopi Goldberg made her multiple fans worry a lot after she was hospitalized with pneumonia and disappeared from the spotlight for months.

“I was between earth and heaven,” the Ghost actress even said several months ago.

Fortunately, Whoopi recovered and got back to the spotlight. She even made the audience burst into tears with her surprise return on The View to join her co-hosts.

In a new interview with ET, Goldberg shared an important update on her current condition. The star said that her sight is getting worse after the lasting disease.

Whoopi said she even had to hire a driver because she is unable to drive a car on her own.

My sight is not good enough, people get nervous when I get behind the wheel. So, I am not allowed to really drive.

I will be fine!

Whoopi also expressed her gratitude to numerous fans who sent their best wishes to her at that time.

Finally, the star added that she stays on high spirits and won’t let the disease let her down. Goldberg said in her typical joking manner:

I am here, I am up and moving around, not as fast as I'd like to be, but I am OK.
