Princess Madeleine Vs Kate Middleton: Their Wedding Dresses Are Quite Similar, But Which One's The Best?

While the official union between Prince William and Kate Middleton started on April 29th, 2011 at Westminster Abbey.

Both weddings were two years apart, took place in different countries and involved unrelated people. But there's one thing the two ceremonies had in common: the wedding dresses.

To be more specific, tops of the wedding dresses. Kate and Madeleine chose fitted tops embroidered with lace which looked absolutely gorgeous on them.

Granted, the sleeves of the two dresses were different. However, the lace, the veils, and tiaras (nevermind the stunning smiles of the two brides) really made us do a double check whether or not this is the same dress.

Now, if you shift your glance to the bottom of the two dresses, that's where similarities end. 

Princess Madeleine continued the lacey theme of her dress, while Kate changed it up with a full ivory skirt.
