More than 12 years have already passed since the time Steve Irwin, the “Crocodile Hunter”, has passed away. In February, he would turn 56. It was a shock for everybody, as it was hard to believe something like that could happen.

Unfortunately, a tragic accident on shooting changed everything in just one moment. His wife Terri, daughter Bindi, and son Robert still miss him a lot.

Steve Irwin has recently been honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His wife and kids were present at the ceremony to pay tribute to him.

His daughter Bindi said:

I'm going to get a little bit emotional because it's such a special day. I have to tell you that I, never in my wildest dreams, imagined that this would become a reality, and this is such an honor as a family to continue in dad's footsteps ... So thank you for being here today and supporting us.

His wife gave a speech, remembering her late husband and encouraging other people to be inspired by his activity and “love of everything".

Bindi added:

It's been over 10 years now, and the grief is always going to be there, but I think now, it's moving forward and remembering everything dad worked so hard for. And this is a celebration of his life and it's always going to be emotional, but I think these are just happy and proud tears. We miss him so much.

By the way, Bindi shares her late father’s passion for wildlife conservation.

Steve Irwin will live in our hearts forever!
