Cheating Rumors Becoming Too Serious: How It Might Affect Prince William's Right To The Throne

June 26, 2019

Since April 2018, rumors of Prince William allegedly cheating on his wife, Kate Middleton, while she was pregnant, with Rose Hanbury have been circulating.

Several tabloids had come to this conclusion after the Duchess reportedly had a falling out with her close friend, Rose.

Prince William breaks his silence on cheating rumors

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have finally reacted to the cheating rumors. Though the royal couple initially didn’t comment on the speculations, they have now confirmed that there’s no truth in the rumors.

We guess royal fans can certainly rest easy now.

Will the affair rumors cost William the throne?

Although there hasn’t been any proof of Prince William cheating on Kate, people are now talking about how likely the Duke’s reputation and his chances of sitting on the throne might get damaged with the speculations.

The Duke of Cambridge is the second in line to the throne after his father, Prince Charles.

As published on Cheat Sheet, William would not likely to give up his right to the throne. History seems to show that the Duke could still have his rights even if the allegations were ruining his reputation.

His father had a popular affair while he was still married to the late Princess Diana. News of Charles’s affair with his ex-lover, Camilla Parker Bowles, who was also married at that time, rocked the royal family.

It also tarnished his reputation, painting the Prince of Wales as an uncaring husband and father.

Turns out, Prince Charles never had to give up his right to the throne, neither will his son, William.

If the affair is never proven to be, true it will not cost him the throne.

Ban on Prince William divorcing his wife

If the cheating rumors were true, and the Prince decides to divorce his wife, would the Queen interfere?

Her Majesty has already witnessed enough heartbreak, as many of her beloved ones are divorcees.

Information obtained from Cheat Sheet says the Queen would not let any more divorce happen during her reign. There will be no way the Duke would divorce the Duchess even if they both wanted to.

What do you think about Prince William giving up his right to the throne if the rumors get too serious?
