Devastated Fans Are Mourning The Death Of Monty Python Star, Terry Jones

Terry Jones was one of the classic British comedy world’s biggest treasures. He worked for a number of shows but most people know Jones for a surreal comedy sketch Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Terry Jones’ health has gotten worse as he was battling with dementia for the last 4 years of his life. The comedy man was diagnosed with a severe and progressive form of the disease in 2016, which affected his ability to speak. Sadly, he’s no longer with us.

With a heavy heart we are sad to tell you that Terry Jones’ star won’t shine anymore. The Monty Python member’s family announced that he passed away following his struggle with dementia. Jones was 77.

The statement said:

It was just a matter of time

The sad news doesn’t come as a surprise. Last November, Terry’s co-star and good friend Michael Palin revealed that he visited the comedian a few times and is sad to say that he wasn’t doing ‘terribly well.’

Palin prepared the devastated fans by saying that Jones’ demise was a matter of time. Even though he is in a better place now, we can still enjoy his work in:

  • The Frost Report;
  • Do Not Adjust Your;
  • Life of Brian;
  • The Meaning of Life.

Words can’t describe how terribly Terry Jones will be missed by his family and his loyal fans. But he will forever stay a part of the comedy world. To this day, Monty Python remains one of a kind comedy group that has been making people laugh since 1969. We’ll never forget you, Terry Jones! May the clouds be your pillow.
