Queen Elizabeth II stands as the world’s oldest and longest-reigning living monarch. During her tenure, she gave the Royal Family tree plenty of time to spread far and wide. Her Majesty has 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. At some point, some of them gave her a hard time.

The Sovereign is incredibly close to each of her grandchildren. In a 2012 interview with Katie Couric, Prince Harry revealed she's just like any other grandma. Her Majesty is relaxed, open and is very normal with them. However, she takes interest in their ventures and demands regular updates about the charities they support.

They once let her down

The Queen's cousin, Lady Elizabeth Anson confided in Daily Express that Her Majesty's grandchildren once disappointed her. According to the grandma, they had forgotten the art of conversation and didn't know how to talk to each other. She had them over for dinner and the Royal heirs failed to behave adequately.

Lady Anson revealed it might be because William, Harry, Eugenie, Beatrice, Peter Phillips, Zara, James, and Lady Louis Windsor weren't assigned enough staff. She further disclosed:

I suppose it’s because they’re always getting up and down and helping somebody and putting something in a dishwasher or whatever they’re doing.

She is loving but, can be strict

The 93-year-old monarch has based her kingdom on strong principles and values. When her next generation zig-zag their way through it, the Queen is quick to put them on the right path. Watch how the granny scolded her eldest grandchild to stand up and take his position seriously. It's rather hilarious, though!

We see Her Majesty's grandchildren making huge tides in the world. Her balanced upbringing has turned them into their best selves. Share this and say: Long live the Queen!
