Dame Judi Dench is one actress who is well-loved and highly respected in Hollywood. Though in her 80s and slowly losing her sight the iconic star doesn’t plan on retiring anytime soon.
Judi Dench recently showed off her eternal beauty as she stepped out to celebrate her friend and mentor Dame Peggy Ashcroft at the reopening of the Ashcroft Playhouse in Croydon, South London.
The iconic actress opted for a very stylish outfit in neutral colors. For the special occasion, Judi’s elegant look featured beige cardigan, white t-shirt, and light grey trousers.
Dame Judi Dench is well known for her role as M from the James Bond movie. Having starred in over 100 films, including seven of the Bond franchise, the actress insists she will never retire.
Speaking at the reopening of the Ashcroft Playhouse in Croydon, the legendary actress said:
I am so bored with the question. You retire in order to walk, paint or travel. All those things. Well, I get to do that. I am doing the job that I would retire to do.
Though Judi is in her 80s, the actress never wants her age to limit her acting. She had to wage a war against ageism and come out triumphant. The screen legend revealed that her age has imposed no restrictions on her as she continues to make movies and star in TV programs.
We surely can't get enough of Judi Dench. Hollywood would definitely not be the same without her if she ever retired.
