The Desperate Housewives star will also have to pay $30, 000 fine for her illegal actions. Though some fans doubted that Huffman would receive “real prison time”, now, it seems like the actress has no other choice except for getting ready to spend the next 14 days behind bars.

Martha Stewart comments on Huffman’s case

Felicity Huffman is not the only celebrity sentenced to time in prison. In 2004, Martha Stewart spent 5 months in jail for cheating with insider trading. The star still recalls that experience as “the most horrifying” in her entire life.

Stewart commented on Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin’s situation after the massive college scandal in an interview with ET.

I feel sorry for them. They might have made a big mistake.

She added:

It's just embarrassing for a family to go through what they're going through and horrifying that it even occurred.

Martha also shared her personal thoughts after Huffman’s prison sentence.

She said:

It will continue to be a mess until it's fixed. If you believe in yourself, everything will be fine.
