Born on July 17, 1963, Kimberly Dianne Shattuck is known for her musical association with The Muffs. She was the lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter for the Punk-rock band. Now, it's time we wave goodbye to the classic artist.

Kim joined The Pandoras in 1985 and remained with it till 1990. 11 years later, she made a comeback and formed The Beards. It was a side project of the super-pop genre comprising of Shattuck, and Sherri Solinger, Lisa Marr.

In the summer of 2015, the songster participated in a reunion of The Pandoras, performing at the Burger Boogaloo in Oakland, California. Following their lead singer, Paula Pierce's death, Kim was to substitute her.

She's no more!

On Wednesday, October 2, Shattuck's spouse, Kevin Sutherland informed on Instagram that she has passed away. The singer was battling ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis for the last two years. She was 56.

Kevin further revealed that Kim died without any pain or struggle, as she slipped away from him during her sleep. The mournful husband captioned the post, saying:

I am the man I am today because of her. She will live with all of us through her music, our shared memories and in her fierce creative spirit. Love you forever my Kimmy. Thank you for sharing your life with me.
