According to reports, the FLOTUS’ bio on the government website claimed that Melania paused her education to focus on her modeling and then completed it before marrying Donald.

However, NBC News claims that isn’t the case as she did not complete her degree in Slovenia. One of the professors at the institution she claimed she graduated from confirmed that the first lady indeed didn’t finish her studies. He said:

“My personal opinion is that, because she was a very beautiful girl, I believe that she realized that she could gain more with that than to have long studies.”

No photos with Melania

It seems Melania’s dishonesty as regards her education doesn’t sit well with some parents.

Students of the United Nations International School were invited to take a tour of the stock exchange with First Lady Melania Trump and ring the opening bell next week.

A notice was sent to the wards of the kids informing them that only ten kids were allowed to participate in the tour. However, they didn’t take it too well.

Many of the parents were dismayed by the invite as they believed their kids were going to be used as political props. One parent reportedly wrote in a letter to the school,

“I am profoundly disappointed by the decision to accept this invitation.”

Parents and administrators at the school are currently seeking a diplomatic solution to the controversy.

Fans agree

Many netizens are on the side of the concerned parents saying they shouldn’t allow their kids to be used as pawns in America politics.

What do you think of the controversy? Should there be any concern about the kids taking a photo with Melania?
