Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are in the news lately due to college admissions bribery accusations.

According to Time, the couple is accused of paying $500,000 to get their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California and named as recruits to the USC crew team despite having never participated in the sport.

Loughlin's co-star on Full House and Fuller House John Stamos recently shared his views about the whole scandal. In an interview with GQ, the actor said he didn't want to say much until the trial is over.

Stamos said he wants to be careful about airing his views and he will much rather wait to see the outcome of the case before officially committing himself.

I'll tell you one thing that has been strange is: Honestly I can't figure it out. It doesn't make sense. I talked to her the morning everything hit. I just can't process it still.

He opined that however things turn out, he believes the "punishment is not equal to the crime if there was a crime."

In June, Stamos told ETOnline that the Fuller House producers were still trying to "figure out" how Loughlin would fit into the upcoming season considering these updates on the actress.

Despite the bad press Loughlin and her family are currently enduring, some of her fans still feel sympathy for her. They posted their comments in support of both Loughlin and Stamos on the issue.

Since the Fuller House actress pleaded not guilty to the accusations, fans can still remain hopeful that things will be sorted out in time.
