73-Year-Old Susan Sarandon Gives A Health Update After She Suffered A Concussion: "I’m Lucky"

Susan Sarandon has just shared an important health update after suffering multiple injuries in a bad fall.

Award-winning actress turned political activist Susan Sarandon fell and suffered a concussion and fractured nose some days back. She took to Instagram to show off her injuries from the dramatic fall.

Sarandon shared a photo of her face with a swollen eye. She captioned the caption: "A little slip = concussion, fractured nose, banged up knee.” The actress also revealed that after the accident she had to cancel an event where she was scheduled to meet with Senator Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire.

Fans keep praying for the actress ever since she revealed that she had a rough fall. The 73-year-old said she is lucky to have health care after surviving the injuries.

On Monday, Susan shared a picture of her face up close with a black eye. She wrote: “I’m lucky. I have Medicare to cover my visit to ER.”

In addition, the political activist in her post noted that everyone deserves medical care to cover trips to the emergency room.

Meanwhile, the legendary actress revealed in an interview that at her age she has never felt more comfortable with herself.

Speaking to Harper Bazaar on ageing in her 70s, she said:

People who don’t contribute to a healthy, fun and adventurous life… well, there’s no reason to waste your time on them and you definitely appreciate that when you reach your 70s.

Thank God Susan is feeling much better. We wish the actress to stay in high spirits.
