Dietician Estimates That Adele Lost Nearly 70 Lbs, But Warns About Danger Of Speedy Weight Loss

If you keep up with pop culture in any capacity you must've heard that Adele is now a skinny bombshell. Yes, she looks fantastic, we still remember when we saw her new look for the first time.

Back in October 2019, Adele came out of her shell created by the painful separation from her husband Simon Konecki.The famous singer chose Drake's birthday party to debut her new look, which no one, and we mean no one, could have expected.

Headlines started popping up praising Adele's 'divorce diet' and visibly slimmer body in a black dress. Her face also seemed much skinnier and she overall looked stunning.

Now it looks like she didn't stop there and continued getting into the best shape of her life. So how much weight did she lose exactly? A dietician might have an answer.

How much weight did Adele lose?

Dietician Heather Struh told US Magazine that from the looks of it, Adele has lost at least 70 Lbs since 2015:

Her jawline is more defined, her lower face and neck appear slimmer, and her waistline has narrowed. [She lost] at least 70 compared to when ‘Hello’ came out.

Now, we can't suggest that Adele started losing weight in 2015, but that's what Struhl chose as a point of reference. The dietician also warned about the dangers of speedy weight loss, saying that the healthy way is to lose 1-2 Lbs a week, not more.

Tips for healthy weight loss

It looks like Adele took a healthy approach to losing weight (at least we hope so), so how exactly does one shed pounds safely?

Here are several ways you can achieve slimmer figure without causing harm to your body:

  • Drink more water, at least 2 litres a day;
  • Go for smaller portions;
  • Choose healthy fats (can be found in olive oil, nuts, avocados, etc.);
  • Exercise 2-3 times a week, if you hate exercise, start walking 30 minutes every day (easy for dog owners);
  • Preferably cut out fizzy drinks.
