Andy Williams Was A Celebrated Singer With 3 Children, Neither Of Whom Followed In His Footsteps

Andy Williams' children were obviously an important part of his life. As a celebrated singer, he had a lot going for him but his personal life wasn't without its challenges.

According to information provided in his biography, Andy was married to dancer Claudine Longet for a few years. The couple tied the knot in 1961 but separated nine years later. Their divorce was eventually completed in 1975.

While they were married, Andy and Claudine were close friends with Senator Bobby Kennedy and his wife, Ethel. When Bobby died, Andy became close to Ethel and rumors emerged that they were more than friends but he denied them at the time.

Claudine, however, had an affair with champion skier Spider Sabich. All of these were believed to have culminated in the demise of their marriage.

Andy and Claudine welcomed three children, Noelle, Christian, and Robert.

Sadly, in July 2019, it was reported that Andy Williams' son, Christian, had passed away in his home in Costa Rica.

Before he died, Christian was reported to have lived a very lowkey life which was a drastic difference from the fame and popularity that surrounded his father.

Both Christian and his brother Robert chose to work in the business world where they reportedly enjoyed thriving careers.

Andy Williams' first child, Noelle, got married to stuntman Keii Johnson in 1987 but they eventually got divorced. The cause of their separation and when it happened was not made public. TheTelegraph, however, reported that Noelle welcomed four children of her own.

Andy Williams' death

The singer lived a full life, albeit one with some ups and downs. He passed away in 2012 at the age of 84. He was known for his incredible talent and his huge musical hits which graced the airwaves in the 1960s and 70s.

Andy was an incredibly famous and talented man. But he did make headlines for his personal life especially through the circumstances surrounding his divorce and the loss of his son. Regardless, his legend lives on through his influential and unforgettable works.
