Tilda Swinton's children are already in their 20s. How amazing is that? It seemed like just yesterday that the world learned that the British actress had become a mother

Tilda and her former partner John Byrne welcomed their beautiful twins in 1997. According to Independent, John Byrne is a successful painter who studied at the Glasgow School of Art. But over the years, he has found fame as a playwright and screenwriter.

79-year-old John Byrne began a long-term relationship with Tilda, who's 20 years younger than he is, in 1989. The couple eventually split up in 2003.

Before this relationship, Tilda welcomed twins Honor and Xavier when she was with John Byrne.

Like her mother, Honor Swinton Byrne is also exploring the world of acting. She made her debut appearance on Joanna Hogg's film The Souvenir.

Both Honor and Xavier had a lowkey childhood as their parents raised them away from the limelight but now, it looks like the young girl is exploring her artistic options.

Tilda Swinton's children are all grown up now, but once upon a time, the actress' relationship made waves after it was reported that ex John was living with her and her subsequent partner Sandro.

The award-winning actress revealed to Telegraph that she chose to enroll her then-teenagers in a school in the Scottish Highlands where individualism is celebrated.

At the school, Tilda revealed that the twins got to focus on "art-based practical learning" where each person was uniquely taught and there were no exams.
