Angela Lansbury 2019’s Jaw-Dropping Appearance At New York Public Library Made Us Swoon

Just last month legendary actress Angela Lansbury turned 94 but she doesn’t seem to be fazed by the number. The actress keeps making herself busy and is not planning to retire for a quiet life. What has Angela Lansbury been up to today?

The 94-year-old screen legend appeared at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library where she was interviewed about her professional life by Irish Rep’s Charlotte Moore.

Lansbury’s appearance was a part of The League of Professional Theatre Women’s Oral History Projects. It was the event’s 37th season and it had to be marked by a special presence, therefore Angela was invited as a special guest.

Lansbury shared stories from her 75-year long career in the acting business. She started her career when she was just 9 and with time, she made a lot of famous friends, including Judy Garland, Katharine Hepburn, and Orson Welles.

Lansbury revealed that her life’s motto is “You can do it” and it helped her to land a variety of different roles. She said:

I was a utility actress, as far as MGM was concerned. They could put me into almost any role, and I would act it.

It was a remarkable evening for every person who participated in the event, including Angela herself. She looked very happy and absolutely stunning in a red cardigan and dark grey pants. We love that she added a black and white scarf to complete her look.

She’s always been a fashionista! Many would want to look so good and be as active as Lansbury. She once said that her secret is taking vitamins but we believe that there is much more to that!
