Even though it wasn't a massive event like many celebs opt for, it still seemed like a beautiful occasion. CNN reported that wedding guests included Miley's mom and dad, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus. Shortly after the wedding, the then-newlywed shared a bunch of pictures and videos confirming her nuptials. Some of the posts have now been taken down.

At the time of the wedding, it seemed to people that these two had finally found their way to each other for good especially considering they had broken off their engagement previously, but happily-ever-after wasn't to be for them.

In August 2018, just months after they became man and wife, TMZ reported that the singer was splitting up from her husband. "Irreconcilable differences" were cited as the reason for their breakup.
