It's no secret that Jane Fonda doesn't shy away from expressing her political opinions, even if that could have her end up in jail. Lately, the 81-year-old actress has been very passionate about the climate change issue and even told The Times that she plans to get arrested every week while marching for it on Capitol Hill.

So far, Fonda has been quite successful in her aspiration.

Jane Fonda and Ted Danson's march to jail

This Friday marked the third time Jane Fonda was arrested while marching for climate change outside the U.S. Capitol. The Grace & Frankie star was seen escorted out of the scene in plastic handcuffs.

Cheers star Ted Danson joined Fonda this time as he was also arrested at the protest. Washington Post reporter shared a video of Danson leaving to the cheers of fellow protestors.

The reporter also said Fonda and Danson exchanged a handcuffed high five as they victoriously left the scene.

Last week, Jane was also not alone in her arrest. She was escorted out by the police together with her Grace & Frankie co-star Sam Waterson.

Fonda told WUSA that she doesn't plan on slowing down any time soon:

We have to be sure that the crisis that is climate change remains front and center like a ticking time bomb. We don’t have very much time, and it's really urgent.

All the power to you, Jane.
