Carrie Underwood Didn't Win CMA's Entertainer Of The Year Award & People Are Beyond Disappointed

Carrie Underwood was the star of the CMA Awards 2019. Unfortunately, she didn't get the must-anticipated bonus for it. The country sensation collaborated with Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire as she hosted the ceremony. She also performed All Those Memories with them and floored the audience.

Despite being the best, she had no win! People are enraged and even deem it totally unfair.

The singer wasn't hesitant to admit she fancied winning the Entertainment Of The Year Award. It meant a great deal for her as it was much more than just recognition of her touring success. Carrie told The Boot:

I’m blessed and lucky to be nominated, obviously in a fantastic company.

She added:

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want it. Sorry, boys!"

Missed the Victory

Carrie Underwood was nominated in three different categories. But, she didn't take any trophy home. She lost Album Of The Year and Female Artist Of The Year awards. The defeat that must've stung the most was Entertainer Of The Year Award. She was the only lady that was made to compete in that category.

The 36-year-old stood against Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Keith Urban, and Chris Stapleton. Most attendees were betting on Carrie's victory but, sadly, Garth won the EOTY award with ease.

She released the Cry Pretty album in 2019 and has been on the tours. In addition to that, she's been managing a fitness brand, raising 2 babies, and penning a new book. Why her awesomeness wasn't rewarded?

Social media users are beyond disappointed

Do you agree that Garth's win was a little biased? Or maybe, the jury's decision was just fair regardless of gender. Share this and let us know what you think.
