Clive James cancer battle

James was diagnosed with cancer in 2010, back then he wasn't given a promising diagnosis and didn't expect to live to see 2013. He kept the public updated on his health during his broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

In 2012, Clive was ready to die, but decided to try a new experimental drug, which miraculously allowed him to live until 2019.

Sadly, on November 27, 2019, Clive James passed away at his home in Cambridge. He was 80 years old.
