Jaci Dyess Iles was preparing her kids for a bath. She took off her 2-year-old son’s diaper and saw a red spot in it.

The mom’s mind was racing. Her first thought was that the red spot was blood, and then she started to wonder where it could come from. Could it be from a cut or from a UTI?

Other objects found in diapers may not be so fun

A jelly bean hidden in a diaper is hilarious, that’s for sure. But other objects some parents find in their children’s diapers are not fun at all, and some of them are downright dangerous!

One woman named Kelly Eastcott found a sewing needle embedded in an unused diaper, The Huffington Post reported. Fortunately, she noticed the needle before she put the diaper on her daughter.

The woman reported her finding to the manufacturer, who promised to investigate.

In another case, reported by CBC News, a woman found a live worm-like bug in the diaper she was about to put on her 2-year-old son.

The mom contacted the manufacturer, and a representative of the company said it was unclear at what point the bug crawled inside their product – it could happen during shipping or at the store.
