Are you struggling with that weight, do you feel insecure about your looks? If yes, don't be, you are beautiful just the way you are. Sometimes, it is hard to love yourself; there are too many magazines and blogs online telling you how you should look.

The most common problem faced when it comes to loving oneself is that most of us do not know how. This is one of the reasons for the "body positivity" movement.

To me, body positivity means accepting the body you have as well as the changes in shape, size, and ability it may undergo due to nature, age, or your own personal choices throughout your lifetime.

Knowing how to love and accept yourself

Self-love is not selfish; don't let anyone convince you it is. But do you even know how to love yourself?

Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.

- Kurt Cobain.

Loving yourself is a step by step process. Like every other thing it takes time and hard work. The first thing you should know is that you are unique. What worked for someone else might not work for you. You have to know who you are and what makes you happy.

Self-love should be unconditional. Do not indulge yourself in negative thoughts about how you could look based on someone else's perception of beauty; everybody has his or her own demons. Remember that you are perfect just the way you are.
