It has been 30 years since the death of the iconic American actress Lucille Ball, mostly known for her self-produced sitcoms I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, Here's Lucy, and Life with Lucy.

Lucille Ball passed away on April 26, 1989, at the age of 77, after an aortic rupture. Jamestown’s most famous comedienne is still remembered by her family, colleagues and numerous fans all over the world.

Besides being an iconic actress, Lucille was also a devoted mother of two children, Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr. She was married twice: to Desi Arnaz, with whom she lived for around twenty years, and to Gary Morton.
