Whoopi Goldberg Blames Hollywood For Refusing To See Her As A Beautiful Woman Due To Her Skin Color

In 1987, while talking to Jet about the Fatal Beauty, Whoopi Goldberg said that America wasn't ready to see mix-raced marriages on the screen.

Whoopi also added that this situation is rather disappointing for her and that the color shouldn’t matter at all.

Racist Hollywood

Whoopi Goldberg has recently said that Hollywood refused to see a beautiful woman in her because she is black. Moreover, she added that nobody was thinking about her as a woman.

Of course, it was rather offensive for Goldberg, who couldn’t understand why some people allow themselves to treat people with a different skin color differently, taking into account that we all are equal and have equal rights.

They didn’t even think of me as a woman. Because I’m black. I wonder, though, if there’s more to it than that. Certainly, back in the ’80s, Hollywood didn’t know how to appreciate blackness.

But of course, a lot of her fans consider her to be a strikingly beautiful woman, and an example to be followed by others. And she is indeed gorgeous!

Whoopi Goldberg tried to do everything possible to change to the situation for better. Recently, she defended Liam Neeson amid racism accusations and controversy over racially charged comments that were made by him.
