Royal experts and keen observers have noticed that Prince Harry has changed a lot since he married Meghan Markle.

Many of them have remarked that the Prince has become “glum”, “aloof”, and even “miserable” – he is not his old self anymore.

One body language expert believes Harry also lost one key quality that endeared him to the public and made him one the most well-liked royals.

Where is the fun-loving Harry?

Body language expert Judi James analyzed Harry’s picture with Meghan and shared her observations on the podcast Pod Save the Queen.

The host of the podcast, Ann Gripper, said:

He used to be the joker [and] had a lot of fun, but [many royal correspondents] feel like he’s changed a bit and is less inclined to get involved.

Judi agrees with this statement wholeheartedly. She said that one of the last times we saw the fun-loving Harry was at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto, shortly after his relationship with Meghan was confirmed.

Since then, Judi says, Harry “has taken himself a lot more seriously.” She went on:

You can understand it really because up until then he’d very much had the role of still being Diana’s son and the younger brother.

Then very quickly he achieved the role of husband and now father-to-be.

Judi added that one of the reasons for such a drastic change in Harry could be his desire to impress Meghan. She concluded: “We’ve lost that naughty, fun side to him.”

But is it really that bad?

While it may be true that Harry has become more serious and even restrained, it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Since Meghan came into his life, many have seen a positive influence. It’s been reported that because of her, Harry quit smoking, cut down on alcohol and caffeine, and started eating healthier meals (many of which Meghan prepares herself).

There’s no doubt that Harry will change even more once his baby with Meghan arrives, but it remains to be seen what exactly these changes will be.
