The Duchess of Sussex jetted off for a secret trip to New York to have a baby shower with her closest friends. Meghan, who is expected to welcome her first baby in April, hosted a celebration in the Big Apple for a small group of people.
It is believed that around 15 persons were invited to the party, including Serena Williams and Jessica Mulroney. However, there certainly was one individual who didn’t get the invite – Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha.
It is evident that the fact that Meghan didn’t invite Samantha for her baby shower was very hurtful for the 54-year-old, so she responded in the best way she could – by throwing shade on the Duchess again.
Samantha talked to DailyMailTV, saying that the pregnant royal should not forget that ‘family is family’ and she can’t simply replace it with ‘a parade of celebrities’.

She commented:
She can’t replace me with George Clooney or Serena Williams – I’m her sister. I hope we might get to bridge that gap and if not, she might regret it.
Markle stated that she cries all the time because of her family’s row and she hopes that everything will change when the Sussex baby arrives. However, the 54-year-old, who hasn’t seen Meghan since 2008, noted that it was the former actress who ruined the relationship with her relatives.
Earlier this month, Samantha insulted George Clooney for trying to defend Prince Harry’s wife, by calling him ‘looney’ and demanding him to ‘be quiet’.
It’s hard to understand what Markle really wants – to fight or to make amends.
