At the beginning of March, the TODAY co-anchor Hoda Kotb sincerely confirmed her huge desire to have another child, apart from a pretty girl Haley Joy. In the candid interview, the A-list persona highlighted the importance of having many kids to her and boyfriend Joel, so the couple was seriously considering to adopt a sibling to the 2-year-old daughter Haley.
And it happened!
Hoda Kotb knows how to shock the entire Universe — she adopted another baby girl! During a phone interview at TODAY, the co-anchor heart-warmingly revealed that she and Joel adopted a girl and named her Hope Catherine.
In fact, Kotb dropped a major hint on her Instagram account when she posted a picture, featuring "Choose Hope."
Hoda happily commented on such a courageous decision to become a mom for the second time at 54:
I'm feeding her, and I can't believe it. I'm so happy she's here! You know what's funny [about adopting 2 children]? You think that you're full.
Haley has a younger sibling now, and she's already embracing her role. According to Hoda, her first daughter was running all over the apartment, screaming "I am a big sister now!"
Fans congratulated Hoda and Joel
Congratulations to Hoda Kotb and Joel Shiffman! May your children be thriving to the full!
