Diana Ross Defends Her Life-Long Friend Michael Jackson Amid The Disturbing Documentary 'Leaving Neverland'

A new documentary Leaving Neverland about Michael Jackson has been in the hottest seat for weeks, and people are divided into two camps, speaking out against the documentary or actually believing in the story of sexual abuse toward two now-adults James Safechuck and Wade Robson.

Diana Ross defends the King of Pop

The allegations made in the documentary against Michael Jackson admittedly left many feeling disturbed and outraged. A plethora of people have started discussing Leaving Neverland on social media platforms in large amounts. 

However, many celebrities have stood up for the Jacksons. Particularly, Diana Ross, Michael's life-long BFF, came to his defense in light of numerous allegations. 

I believe and trust that Michael Jackson was and is a magnificent incredible force to me and many others.

The high-profile personality asked everybody to stop criticizing and spreading false stories amid Leaving Neverland fallout, urging people to put this to an end "in the name of love."

In addition to having an enduring friendship, Jackson and Ross worked together a couple of times. The two shared the screen in The Wiz (1978) and Jackson also wrote and produced Ross’ 1982 single Muscles.
