Gina shared a heartfelt post via Instagram, expressing her gratitude and love toward everyone on the set, breaking the fans' hearts over such shattering news.

The General Hospital actress, Michelle Stafford, will be starring as Phyllis Summers Abbott on The Young & The Restless.
Even though Gina Tognoni's leaving was the producers' decision, it is believed nobody is happy for her replacement. A bunch of fans voiced their disbelief, outrage, and dissatisfaction toward Michelle Stafford on social media.

Wow can’t believe you are actually leaving the awesome character of Nina to go back to Phyllis (blab). You are much better as Nina and totally leaving us GH fans high and dry with out your character or another recast.
