What do we know so far

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared new details about their firstborn christening, which will take place at the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle.

The Archbishop of Canterbury will do the christening and the new parents will share some official photographs that will be taken on a special day by photographer Chris Allerton.

Unfortunately, it means we won’t see any snaps of the royal family arriving at the service, which is a major difference from the christening of Kate and William’s children.

The event will be a strictly family affair with no more than 25 people in attendance, including the couple’s family members, close friends, and godparents.

Speaking of godparents, Meghan and Harry decided to keep their names in secret. Royal correspondent Rebecca English thinks it’s not a good idea as it will create “even more hysteria” around the christening.
