The Chapman family lost a beloved member. Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife Beth passed away on June 22 after a long battle with cancer. She was only 51 years old.

Her loved ones are still stricken with grief but, apparently, Beth tried to prepare them for the inevitable.

The last lesson

Duane and Beth Chapman’s son Garry Dee shared the last lesson his mother taught him. In an emotional tweet, he opened up about how his mom stressed he should always stay strong, no matter what happens.

He wrote:

These past few years you have stressed to be strong now I know why you always told me to. You knew that one day soon I would need the strength to bear your loss.

It looks like Beth tried to prepare Garry for the future without her in it. He also added a link to a video from Dog the Bounty Hunter show which included some of the special moments of Beth’s life.

Garry’s sister, Cecily Chapman, responded to his tweet with the words of support. She wrote:

I love you baby brother you will always have me.

Beth’s fans sent their condolences to a grieving Garry and his family

Beth will always live as a vivid memory in the hearts of people who loved her.
