The 91st Academy Awards has come to its exciting conclusion. One of the most anticipated categories was, of course, 'The Best Actress'. The competition was very serious this year. Yalitza Aparicio, Olivia  Colman, Glenn Close, Melissa McCarthy, and Lady Gaga were all fighting for the desirable award.

But only one was victorious. The winner’s crown went to the British star, Olivia Colman. Colman has been riding high this award season, getting praises for her role in The Favourite. However, she didn’t expect to get Oscar and her impromptu speech proves that.

Colman’s touching speech

Nominated for Oscar the first time, Olivia Colman won big and she appeared to be very shocked! The British actress, who was honored for playing Queen Ann, was so surprised to get an award that her speech was arguably the most memorable moment of the whole event.
