Host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel is a proud father of four! He has two grown-up children, Katherine and Kevin, with ex-wife Ginna Kimmel, and two young kids, Jane and Billy, with wife Molly McNearney.

On April 21, which also coincided with Easter, Jimmy’s youngest one, Billy, celebrated his second birthday. This day is especially significant to the family, and Jimmy reminded everyone why it’s so important to him in a heartfelt Instagram post.

The happiest day

As the host has previously shared on his show, Billy was born with a serious heart defect. The boy underwent an open-heart surgery when he was just days old, and then had a second surgery when he was six months old.

In his heartfelt message, Jimmy thanked the incredible doctors and nurses at Cedars-Sinai and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, who made little Billy’s second birthday possible.

The host’s tribute reads:

Happy 2nd birthday to our little #Easter buddy Billy. We are grateful always to the nurses and doctors at @CedarsSinai & @ChildrensLA who saved his life and all of you who prayed & sent positive thoughts our way. #HappyEaster

In the picture that Jimmy shared along with his message of gratitude, Billy is smiling and looking very healthy and happy!
