Fans of Beverly Hills, 90210 wanted their favorite characters to get back together for many years, and it’s finally going to happen!

The reboot of the iconic show will be in the form of a six-episode miniseries. It’s slated to premiere on Fox on August 7. Members of the original cast, including Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestly, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, and Gabrielle Carteris, are all in!

Sadly, this constellation is missing Luke Perry, a beloved fan favorite. Luke, who played Dylan McKay on the original show, passed away on March 4 this year after suffering a fatal stroke. The actor was only 52.

The talk about the show’s revival began before Luke’s untimely passing. But the reboot will not focus on the actor’s conspicuous absence, but will rather honor him in a respectful and subtle way, Gabrielle Carteris revealed to Us Weekly.

The long-awaited announcement about the reboot elicited mixed reactions from fans. Many are thrilled, but to some, it just doesn’t feel right without Luke Perry.
