Conway died on Tuesday morning in the L.A. area, his representative has confirmed. He was 85.
The comic actor is best remembered for his work on The Carol Burnett Show, which earned him a Golden Globe, three Emmys, and countless admirers. Conway was also much loved by his co-stars, who were in awe of his unique ability to do improvs that caught them off guard.
