Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman could be facing jail time of 4 to 10 months.
The actress, who is involved in the college admissions cheating scam, has agreed to a plea deal earlier this month. She also issued a statement expressing regret and remorse. But if she does end up in jail, she may use advice from another celeb who knows what life behind bars is like.
Abby Lee Miller’s advice to Felicity
Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller spent 8 months in federal prison after she was convicted of fraud. Speaking to Inside Edition, she addressed Felicity:
My advice would be to take a deep breath, and if you need a consultant, I’m your girl.
Abby Lee warns Felicity not to expect special treatment, especially from the guards. She also advises the actress to keep a low profile and treat everyone with respect:
Be respectful of everyone, keep a very low profile, be kind to people. Tell your story, but listen.
What about Lori Loughlin?
Another actress involved in the college admissions scandal, Full House star Lori Loughlin, seems to have chosen a different path.
She reportedly refused to accept a plea deal, and she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, could now face a maximum sentence of 40 years.
Lori has appeared confident and defiant before court hearings, but will her approach help her or hurt her? We will see.
