But here’s the thing: Meghan gave birth at 5:26 a.m., but the announcement came hours later, leaving many British reporters angry and confused. Why didn’t they find out right away that Meghan was in labor?

The official explanation is that the email with the announcement intended for major news outlets failed to send, and the person behind this spectacular debacle is presumed to be the head of the Sussexes’ communications team, Sara Latham.

The royal couple welcomed Sara to their PR team in March. Her resume is quite impressive; she worked for Barack Obama and the Clintons in the past.

You’d expect such a seasoned PR expert to make sure all major announcements go off without a hitch, but that’s not what happened on Monday.

News outlets didn’t receive the email confirming that Meghan was in labor until 2 p.m., hours after she actually gave birth. The Palace later stated that the emails were not sent on time due to a "technical glitch."

But the blunders didn’t end at that. On Wednesday, as Meghan and Harry prepared to show their baby son Archie to the world for the very first time, PR guru Sara barely managed to get out of the way as photographers were about to capture the iconic moment!

Looks like someone’s job could be on the line right now...
