The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are enjoying a very special time in their lives – their first weeks of parenthood.
When the royal couple introduced their newborn son Archie Harrison to the world two days after he was born, Meghan was radiant and excited about her new role! She told the press being a mom “is magic”, and said baby Archie has “the sweetest temperament”.
On Mother’s Day, the royal couple delighted fans with a new picture along with a heart-warming message fitting for the occasion.
On their official Instagram account, the Sussexes shared a sweet picture of Archie’s tiny feet with blue flowers in the background. The message in the caption to this adorable new snap reads:
Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered.
We honor and celebrate each and every one of you.
Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe.

This day must have been truly special for Meghan! And it’s a sure thing it was also the day to celebrate baby Archie’s late grandma, Princess Diana.
Just look at the wording of the royal couple’s message ("and those lost but forever remembered") and a subtle detail that observant royal watchers noticed in the picture.
The picture was taken in front of Princess Diana’s favorite flowers – forget-me-nots.
Diana is watching over Harry and his adorable family, feeling happy and immensely proud.
