Even though the press tries to victimize Meghan Markle, people who personally know the Duchess have only nice things to say about her.
Markle’s high school theology teacher Maria Pollia said that Prince Harry is “so lucky” to have her as his wife. It’s been over 20 years since the Duchess finished school but she is still being remembered with a smile.
Meghan doesn’t forget about her school either. She sent a touching letter to her classmates the day before giving birth to her son.
A sweet apology
The Duchess of Sussex had to skip her 20-year high school reunion but she let her classmates know how sorry she feels for missing it. The reunion of the class of 1999 of Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles took place the day before Meghan gave birth to her first child.
A total of 37 graduates attended the event. They were sad to hear that Markle won’t join them but were equally happy to receive a letter of apology from her written on Kensington Palace stationery.
The next day after the reunion, Meghan gave birth to son Archie and the school sent their congratulations in a Facebook post, saying:
Immaculate Heart High School & Middle School congratulates IH alumna Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and her husband, Prince Harry, on the birth of their son. The school community extends best wishes of happiness to the Royal Familly!
Meghan’s classmates hope that the Duchess will be able to join them at the 25-year school reunion and catch up with her.
