If you don’t know who Ngoc Trinh is, you should totally get familiar with this young lady. The 29-year-old is one of the most popular models in Vietnam. Trinh’s beauty became recognized after she won the Miss Vietnam contest back in 2011.

Not only that, Ngoc is also an extremely talented designer. She launched her own fashion brand C & T in 2014 and one of her creations was worn by Victoria Beckham.

So why are we telling you about her? Well, Ms. Trinh managed to create quite a furor with her outfit during the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

Outrageously revealing

Ngoc Trinh may get a hefty fine for wearing an extremely revealing dress to Cannes. The officials thought it was so 'outrageously skimpy', it should be illegal.

The model didn’t leave much to the imagination when she arrived sporting a g-string sheer lace bodice decorated with beads that barely covered anything that should be covered.

She paired her daring outfit with black high heels which made her already long legs look even longer. Vietnam’s  Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyen Ngoc Thien, was enraged when he saw how Ngoc represented his country.

He commented:

Her outfit was improper, offensive and has caused public outrage.

Thien, apparently, was so angry that he made the official to investigate the model under public decency laws.

Social media’s reaction

Do you think it’s morally appropriate to wear such a dress?
